About the programme

Celebrating the talent at home

Our relatives in Bali Nyonga farm, sew, build and carve with real skill. Enabling our Bali Talent helps that work find buyers, so the diaspora can support family at home by helping their businesses grow.

A programme that begins at the convention and carries on long after it.

How it works

Supporting a relative, step by step

  1. Step 1

    Start with family

Many of us have relatives in Bali Nyonga with a skill or a trade: tailoring, carpentry, farming or craft.

  2. Step 2

Give them a profile on LelaHub

For about £5 a month you can sponsor their LelaHub profile, with photos and help getting started.

  3. Step 3

    Their work finds buyers

Their tailoring, carpentry, produce or craft can reach customers in Bamenda, Douala, Yaoundé and across the diaspora.

  4. Step 4

    Their business grows

Every sale is income earned at home, from work they are proud of.

The monthly amount is a guide and will be confirmed when the programme opens.

Starting at the convention

It begins in July 2027

Enabling our Bali Talent begins at the convention. Look out for Bali Nyonga craft, food and fashion at the Friday bazaar, and the craft auction the same day. Full details come with the programme.
