BCA Europe Convention 2027 · Hosted by BCDA-UK

Four days for the whole Bali Nyonga family

One weekend, one roof, one Bali. For the Bali Nyonga family across Europe and beyond: a weekend built on everything we love about our conventions, with plenty for the next generation.

What to look forward to

Highlights of 2027

  1. Culture at the heart of every day

The Njang on Thursday night. Uniforms and the Official Opening on Friday, with culture through to midnight. Cultural dancing and the dance competition on Saturday, and Mungaka woven through the whole weekend.

  2. A Gala made for celebrating

Saturday night is banquet, awards and dancing till late. Giving is simple and private: at Friday's bazaar and auction, or on the app during one hour of the Gala.

  3. Enabling our Bali Talent

A lasting programme, rooted in Bali Nyonga, helping skills, language and craft from home reach new customers. It launches at the convention.

How it works

A simpler weekend

One place, one pass and one app, so you can spend the weekend with family, not logistics.

  1. One estate

Beds, halls, the Gala and the barbecue on one estate near Reading. Every event is a short walk from your room.

    The venue: One estate
  2. The Bali Pass

One payment for the weekend: every event, every meal and your Gala seat included. Pay in instalments through the app.

Passes and prices: The Bali Pass
  3. Supported all year round

Language classes, the digital magazine, sponsors and exhibitors all help support the weekend, which keeps passes affordable.

    Partners: Supported all year round
  4. LelaHub

The digital home of Bali: registration, payments by country, the programme, the magazine and the cause, all year round.

The traditions you love

All your favourites, all weekend

Our conventions are built by our chapters and loved by our people. Every favourite is here in 2027.

  • The Lela

The spirit of the festival that brings our people back to each other, at the heart of the weekend.

  • The Gala

Banquet, awards and dancing till late on Saturday night. A night to celebrate together.

  • The General Assembly

Two focused hours on Saturday, 11:00 to 13:00, then lunch together.

  • The barbecue

Sunday on the lawns, and the farewell circle before we go home.
